5 September 2009, One Day Camp

Actions speak louder than words……….these are among the activities that we had for our September One Day Camp.

DATE :  5 SEPTEMBER 2009

TIME  ::8.00 am to 5.30 pm

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES :  SWIMMING BADGE, COMMANDO COURSE, LIBRARIAN BADGE- LOG BOOK

We started off with the usual fall in. Followed by a filling breakfast. Then, the Scouts went into separate base for their different “Lencana Kegemaran”.  Only a few though signed up for Lencana Renang. Then, the rest went for the Lencana Perpustakawan.

   

The Form 3 Scouts came to help in preparing the commando course. Besides, 4 Form 6 Rover Scouts came to help out and oversee come of the stations. Great experience for all…

The rebuilding of ACS Scout Den

History of past is now changed with the commencement of the integration of the Pengakap Kelana and Kinta 01 troop in the joint cleaning and refurbishment of the ACS Scout Den. Years and piles of dusts and rubbish have been removed and the den is now properly organised

The support from the Form 6s were deeply encouraging in terms of their participations and their ruggedness in embracing the hot sun, not to mention the dusts and dirt.

Their help has made the cleaning shorten and we finished most of the clearing, cleaning and reorganisation from 930am to 1230pm which is a fantastic results . With the joint maintenance of the den, we will now have more Scout activities there for both the group
