Cooking lesson: Pasta

The boys learnt how to cook pasta at St John and able to learn the
following:

1) Difference between cooking pasta and rice
2) Fundamentals of cooking pasta
3) Coming up with standard ingredients & standard recipes
4) Filling in QR Cards for Food and Equipment Requisition with the QM under
Yit Xiang
5) Enjoy the harvest of their cooking and goes home fulfilled

Bakau Wood for Pioneering

It is great to see that Kinta 01 finally has its own inventory of bakau wood
from their sponsors. They handled the bakau woods diligently and were
cooperative in handling them. We shall see some of Kinta 01 pioneering
masterpieces in the coming June Camp next week!

Kinta 01 Competition at SMI

Kinta 01 went for competitions in SMI and participated in treasure hunt,
singing and drama. We were so good that we bagged the drama and treasure
hunt. We did greatly in singing too and missed by fractions to bagged the
final award. Our troop has finally find a niche in Drama and I am sure our
singing representative will come back even stronger to claim our rightful
trophies for singing too in the near future!
