LOVE for SCOUT MASTERS and SCOUTS

If the Scoutmasters and Scouts can make the tallest tower, know every knots and lashings, make the best gadgets,

BUT do not have LOVE; the Scoutmasters and Scouts are only a resounding Gong or a clanging cymbal.


If the Scoutmasters and Scouts have the gift of all skills, know the effective leadership ways to manage the troop, have the Wood badge, King Scouts Certificate and various qualifications, carry out projects, badge classes, drills, games, camps and expeditions;

BUT do not have LOVE, the Scoutmasters and Scouts are nothing.

If the Scoutmasters and Scouts were to donate all they have, help every Scout and give everything,

BUT do not have LOVE, the Scoutmasters and Scouts stand to gain nothing.

YOU NEED the SCOUTING LOVE


As Scoutmasters and Scouts, REMEMBER-

Love is PATIENT, LOVE is kind,
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, it is not rude,
It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
It keeps no records of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth,
Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes. Always perseveres.

LOVE NEVER FAILS. Faith, Hope and Love.
Three that remains BUT the greatest is LOVE.

So to all Scoutmasters, Scouts and Friends;-
Show LOVE, YOU MUST- in all the ways and in everything.
