Leaders should lead, not just implement consensus.
1- When no one is incharge, CHAOS ensues.
2- Leadership is teamwork, coaching, creativity- the synergy of a group of people inspired by their leader.
3- Leader’s Job is to work together with the team- to draw out ideas and organize them.
1- Leaders have ‘GOAL OWNERSHIP’- ownership and enthusiasm to implement Decisions and Mission of the Movement/Society.
2- Leadership is the ability to recognize the special abilities and limitations of others, combined with the capacity to fit each one into the job where he will do his best. J. Oswald Sanders.
3- Leadership is to be committed to a corporate concept of persons, the diversity of human gifts, covenantal relationships, lavish communications, including everyone and believing that leadership is a condition of indestedness. Mat de Pree.
What the BEST LEADERS DO-
-Delegate decisions.
-Involve others.
-View truth and wisdom as being distributed throughout the organization.
-Are developers.
-See PEOPLE as their greatest resources or asset for ideas that will bring success.
-Give people space to make decisions.
-Let those responsible decide how jobs will be done
