MALAYSIAN SCOUTS BADGES

The Proficiency Badge System is develop in Scouting to develop in each Boy Scout, the taste for hobbies or handicraft, one of which may give him a career and not leave him hopeless and helpless when going out into the world. It is a sort of encouragement for the boys to take up a hobby or a skill in particular. Besides, it can be helpful in forming his character or developing his skill..

Each of the 3 sections below has its Progressive Training Scheme. Members are encouraged to pursue the highest award in their respective sections. Proficiency badges and a certificate are awarded by the Scout Association of Malaysia for each achievement in the wide choice of progressive and proficiency badges available. ONE VISION: One in Purpose and Unity

VISION
VISION...VISION...VISION...

Do you have a VISION?
Do you have a VISION?
Does VISION SERVE ANY PURPOSE?
If Scouting excellence is my purpose, aim, goal …
What am I doing to achieve that?
If Scouting excellence is what I want…
Why am I not doing anything for it?
If Scouting excellence builds character…
What am I afraid of?
If Scouting excellence – can bless Scouts…
Why am I not a blessing to someone today?
If Scouting excellence can nurture minds and person's attitude…
What should I be aiming today?
If Scouting excellence brings honour ad success…
How many of us actually love Scouting?
If Scouting excellence demands DISCIPLINE…
Why not I come forward to offer my skills
Instead of talk and NO ACTION,
Why not I offer my time, energy and support…
Instead of complaining and asking WHY – I offer myself?
"Here am I send me."

COME LET US REBUILD 01 KINTA SCOUTS TROOP

From the ruins
of neglect and discouragement
lack of support
to stand at attention and seek ways
of being looking down
to look up and shine
of no plans and future
to challenging plans and camps
of hopelessness and aimless pursuit
to hope of success and target of KING SCOUTS

to new directions and challenges
to raise up new leaders of capabilities
to new traditions of scouting
to focus on the essentials of outdoors
to ride up like an eagle
and soar to greater heights of glory
this is our quest
a quest for excellence in scouting
a quest for future glories

COME LET US REBUILD 01 KINTA.
